Many life experiences have led me to this place and time… join me as I spend a summer in a small village in Greece where generations of my family have lived and where I now hope to put down a few roots. Along my journey I will write letters to you to share my experiences and hopefully inspire you to create your own wherever you live or travel…

Courtyard Demolition

So as not to make life too relaxing around here, we also decided to demolish the courtyard wall, shed, hen house and brick oven. It was sentimentally tough to take these down, but they were in very rough shape from age and earthquakes. For now, we have some metal fencing up, but soon I will hire a stone contractor to build me a new courtyard wall and parking spot. Stay tuned for cement trucks and backhoes. ;)
