Many life experiences have led me to this place and time… join me as I spend a summer in a small village in Greece where generations of my family have lived and where I now hope to put down a few roots. Dear Friend,

I'm sitting on the terrace looking out at the mountains and enjoying the sounds of Kolya running around with his friends... English and Greek mixed together. Language barriers don't slow them down a bit. They are friends. Kolya ran home a few minute ago to bring me this picture that his new friends drew for him spelling his Russian name in Greek. A Russian boy playing with is Albanian friends in a Greek village while his American mother smiles and enjoys what a small beautiful world it is.
